Day 01 (June 19) .- Arrival in Lima
Transfer to the hotel of your choice. you will have time to rest. and in the afternoon have a city tour through the city of Lima, capital of Peru.
Day 02 (June 20) .- Lima • Cusco (City Tour)
After breakfast, we will pass for your Hotel to pick up you, in our private transportation to the international airport Jorge Chávez in Lima, where your flight will take you to the majestic city of Cusco, (duration approx. In flight is 55 minutes). Our staff will welcome you at the airport in Cusco and accompany him to the designated hotel. you will have time to rest and acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco. After a good rest, in the afternoon have a city tour, visiting the main square, the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), including the Cathedral. Then visit the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko and Puca Pucara.
Day 03 (June 21) Day off and dances of Cusco
Today you can do activities that you see fit, here are some suggestions.
You can visit museums and churches in the city of Cusco. Or you can go to appreciate the dances of the department of Cusco, which will take place throughout the day and the realization of more than 70 varieties of dances, each with a different costume, choreography and dancing are in the main square of Cusco.
If you want to see the dances and learn about their origin, history, just tell us and we will contact staff to accompany you and explain the history of each of these dances.
Day 04 (June 22) .- Sacred Valley Tour
After breakfast, tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way pass by Chinchero a beautiful place to observe the archaeological remains and visit the famous Wiñay Awayy textile center where we observe the process of weaving, natural elements clearly, then we will continue with the tour, we stop in Urubamba to enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we visit the archaeological city of Ollantaytambo where you can appreciate the incredible Inca construction. To then go on a train to the Aguas Calientes city, and transferred to the Hotel of your choice and spend the night in this beautiful city.
Day 05 (23de June) .- Cusco. Machu Picchu. Cusco
Early morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up from hotel for transfer to the bus station and go to the Inca city of Machu Picchu - one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Our guide will show you the amazing and enigmatic city of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon return to the majestic city of Cusco by train, where our staff will be waiting and transfer to your hotel.
Day 06 (June 24) .- Festival of Inti Raymi or sun festival
This day you can enjoy the sun festival or Inti Raymi , which was held today and represent the most important rituals in this great festival, the sacrifice of the llama, the payment to land, etc. This special day also includes the celebration of the New Fire. By using metal plates that sunlight can light the fire and go directly to the sacrifices to be burned. Follows, to burn in a series of sacrifices from this source. Also see the Inca to sacrifice representative to the chicha (a fermented beverage used in Inca times). At the end of the ceremony the Inca makes a speech in the native language Quechua
Day 07 (June 25) .- Return to Lima and home
After breakfast, our staff will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to Cusco airport and your flight to Lima. And then take the flight back home.
